Description

This High severity Third-Party Dependency vulnerability was introduced in versions 7.17.0, 7.21.0, 8.7.0, 8.8.0, 8.9.0, 8.10.0, 8.11.0, 8.12.0, and 8.13.0 of Bitbucket Data Center and Server. This Third-Party Dependency vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 7.5 and a CVSS Vector of CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H allows an unauthenticated attacker to expose assets in your environment susceptible to exploitation which has no impact to confidentiality, no impact to integrity, high impact to availability, and requires no user interaction. The National Vulnerability Database provides the following description for this vulnerability: jackson-databind 2.10.x through 2.12.x before 2.12.6 and 2.13.x before 2.13.1 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (2 GB transient heap usage per read) in uncommon situations involving JsonNode JDK serialization.
